Venable Diversity Committee Discussion Featuring To Kill A Mockingbird

This event has already occurred.
Venable held its 2nd annual book event, an engaging panel discussion featuring special guest, Mr. Michael Austin. Mr. Austin was wrongly convicted of an East Baltimore murder in 1974 and released from prison 27 years later. In 2004, he was pardoned by the Governor of Maryland and awarded the largest amount ever granted in the state for a wrongful murder conviction. Additional panelists included Venable partners who shared other experiences in equality, justice, and innocence while discussing the themes of To Kill a Mockingbird.
