Emried D. Cole, Jr. advises clients on general corporate and transactional work, and on the organization and management of joint ventures. He represents clients before regulatory agencies and has significant experience in arbitration and mediation. Mr. Cole received his B.A. from Emory University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
Jeffrey Elikan focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation. He assists clients in trademark matters and patent disputes involving an array of technology from pharmaceutical devices to sports equipment. He received his B.A., M.A. and J.D. degrees from Columbia University.
Maria E. Rodriguez, is a general business and commercial litigator, with experience in securities fraud, trade secret, employment and libel cases. Ms. Rodriguez was awarded her B.A. from Wesleyan University, an M.A. in Psychology from the University of Oregon and a J.D. from Stanford Law School.

Hope Adams focuses her practice on business and transactional matters, including entity formation, structuring and planning, acquisitions and sales of assets, joint ventures, employment agreements, and executive and incentive compensation plans. Adams received her bachelor's degree from North Carolina School for the Arts, her J.D. from Campbell University and her LL.M. from University of Florida.
Kevin B. Collins is a litigator who focuses on intellectual property disputes. In addition, he represents clients involved in complex commercial and general civil litigation matters in such varied areas such as federal and state preemption, constitutional litigation, contract disputes and construction disputes. Mr. Collins received his B.S. degree from Worchester Polytechnic Institute and his J.D. from University of Baltimore School of Law.
Thomas J. Cooper provides broad-based counsel on a range of regulatory matters, including export controls, federal regulation of alcohol and firearms, elections and lobbying and the Foreign Corrupt Practice Act. He assists clients through all phases of the regulatory process, and has worked with many federal agencies. Mr. Cooper has his B.A. and M.A. degrees from George Washington University, and his J.D. from Tulane University.
Peter Curtin concentrates his practice on patent litigation, particularly litigation involving pharmaceuticals and medical devices. However, he has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of complex litigation matters. Mr. Curtin received his B.A. from University of Cincinnati and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
James N. Czaban's practice is primarily centered on governmental regulation of medical products and activities, particularly FDA regulation of prescription pharmaceuticals and the interplay between the patent laws and the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. Mr. Czaban also advises clients on the laws governing the advertising and promotion of a wide range of health related products. He has expensive experience representing regulated entities in administrative litigation at all levels of the federal court system. Mr. Czaban received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
John C. Hardwick, Jr. concentrates his practice on employment, labor relations and corporate immigration matters. Mr. Hardwick represents private and public sector employers in federal and state court litigation, in government investigations, and in federal, state and local administrative proceedings. Mr. Hardwick received his B.A. from Duke University and his J.D. from Boston College Law School.
Janet F. Satterthwaite assists clients with brand management and control of their image in cyberspace. She advises clients on selecting, registering, enforcing, litigating, and licensing trademarks in the U.S. and worldwide. She also advises clients regarding Internet domain name registration, purchases, and disputes worldwide. Ms. Satterthwaite has a B.A. from Yale and a J.D. from University of Virginia.
Gary L. Shaffer concentrates his practice in intellectual property in the fields of biotechnology, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and related technologies. His practice focuses on formulating domestic and global business strategies which accelerate the value of patent and trademark portfolios, the acquisition of key technology, and related licensing and enforcement strategies for protecting inventions and trademarks. Mr. Shaffer received his B.S. and J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, and his M.S. from Johns Hopkins University.
