Group and four attorneys singled out in Enforcement & Litigation and Prosecution & Strategy categories
Washington, DC (January 24, 2017) – Venable LLP, an American Lawyer Global 100 law firm, is pleased to announce that for the sixth consecutive year the firm’s Trademark group has been recognized among the elite in the Washington, DC metro area – a central hub in global and national trademark law – by World Trademark Review 1000: The World's Leading Trademark Professionals. Moreover, four of the group's attorneys – Intellectual Property Division Chair Justin E. Pierce, partners Mark B. Harrison and Andrew D. Price, and counsel Rebecca Liebowitz – were once again singled out for individual recognition.
The group was ranked in the Silver Tier for both Enforcement & Litigation and Prosecution & Strategy in the Washington, DC metro area. Individually, Mr. Pierce was listed in the Bronze Tier for Enforcement & Litigation and the Silver Tier for Prosecution & Strategy. Mr. Harrison moved up to the Gold Tier in Prosecution & Strategy, Mr. Price was listed in the Silver Tier, and Ms. Liebowitz moved up to the Silver tier.
In addition to being the sixth consecutive year WTR 1000 ranked Venable's Trademark group, it is also the sixth consecutive year Mr. Harrison and Mr. Price have been individually ranked. This also marks the fifth consecutive year for Mr. Pierce and the third consecutive year for Ms. Liebowitz.
