Last week, Venable announced the addition of Adam Hess as a partner in the Intellectual Property group in the Washington, DC office. An IP litigator with extensive experience in federal court litigation and handling Section 337 investigations at the International Trade Commission, Hess also has a broad cross-border background representing Asia-based technology companies, notably in Japan but also in China and elsewhere. In addition to litigation, he counsels clients on all matters of IP transactions, such as portfolio management, licensing, due diligence, and patent prosecution.

Hess’ move continued to draw coverage in the July 16, 2012 edition of Thomson Reuters News and Insight, the July 13, 2012 editions of The Deal Pipeline and The AmLaw Daily, and the July 12, 2012 edition of Managing Intellectual Property.
