Venable partner David Strickland was quoted in a December 22, 2015 Bloomberg Business article on where the fault would lie if two driverless cars were to have an accident. Google's driverless car, which has no steering wheel or gas pedal, is rumored to rollout as a standalone business next year and has sparked a lot of discussion on the rules and laws around this type of vehicle, including who is at fault should these vehicles have an accident.

"There is going to be a moment in time when there's going to be a crash and it's going to be undetermined who or what was at fault," said Strickland. "That's where the difficulty begins."
