Venable partner Angel Garganta was quoted in a July 29, 2016 Law360 article on key developments related to product liability so far this year. Garganta focused specifically on a new food labeling law signed by the president last week that provides food companies with three options to show that their products include genetically modified organisms.
"One of the regulations that must be issued under this bill is a regulation that will in effect prohibit a food derived from an animal to be considered biologically engineered solely because the animal consumed feed that is biologically engineered," said Garganta.
