Mr. Wallerstein is a well-known Bay Area commercial litigator whose practice focuses on high-stakes litigation, including trade secrets, non-competes, and other employment litigation; intellectual property disputes; partnership, founder, and stock/equity disputes; and other complex commercial litigation. He routinely appears in court and has first-chair trial experience in state and federal courts in California, Delaware, and elsewhere.
“I think of trade secrets as at the midpoint of three intersecting circles: employment, commercial, and IP litigation,” Mr. Wallerstein told the Daily Journal. “I love the field because cases always involve a story, emotion – often a story of betrayal when a trusted employee leaves. It hurts. Or, on the defense side, you’re representing somebody who just wants to compete. I really like the human element of this practice area.”
