On March 28, 2016, American Lawyer featured news of several recent additions to Venable including partner Doug Siegler, counsel Carolyn Vinson and Steven Weinberger, and associate Emily Plocki.

An American College of Trust and Estate Counsel Fellow, Siegler represents individuals and families in sophisticated estate planning and administration and multigenerational transfers of wealth, including income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning. Vinson provides sophisticated and comprehensive estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning for individuals, couples, families, and family businesses by using advanced estate planning and transfer tax techniques. Plocki assists high-net-worth individuals and owners of family entities with multigenerational tax planning strategies and wealth preservation, including lifetime, estate, charities, and business succession planning. All three joined as a team in Washington, DC.

As lead leasing counsel, Weinberger regularly handles commercial leasing transactions on a local and national scale, where he represents both landlords and tenants in office, retail, restaurant, industrial and ground lease transactions. He has more than 20 years of in-house and private practice commercial real estate transactional experience involving the leasing, financing and acquisition of commercial assets in major metropolitan markets throughout the country.
