Chelsea S. Stevens


Chelsea S. Stevens is an associate in Venable's Litigation Practice in the New York office. She focuses on broad-based litigation encompassing complex commercial litigation, international arbitration, and internal investigations. Chelsea has experience in motions practice, written discovery, and trial preparation. She has represented pro bono clients in matters involving the death penalty, immigration, domestic violence, divorce, and child support. Chelsea has also researched, drafted, and revised portions of law journal articles, a legal treatise on class actions, a book on nanotechnology and the law, and a New York criminal case law handbook. 

Chelsea is a 2014 graduate of NYU School of Law. While in law school, she served as the symposium editor for the Review of Law and Social Change and completed her law school clinic work at the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama. She was also a teaching assistant, a student advocate for the Domestic Violence Advocacy Program, and the co-director of Law Students for Reproductive Justice. Chelsea received a bachelor's degree in journalism, summa cum laude, from DePaul University in Chicago.
