Venable partner Greg Sater was quoted in a February 5, 2012 article in The Hollywood Reporter on legal questions surrounding the Super Bowl. Questions covered a variety of topics including parties, betting, and advertising.

Commenting on the winning quarterback’s statement of “I’m going to Disneyland” and the FTC’s crackdown on endorsements and testimonials, Sater said, “The FTC's view, and they do sue companies for this, is that if an endorser is being paid and it's not otherwise completely obvious to all concerned, then it has to be disclosed clearly and conspicuously.”
