Gregory S. Berlin


Greg Berlin is an associate in the Environmental Practice in the San Francisco office. His practice focuses on compliance and litigation issues arising under the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Endangered Species Act (ESA), the Clean Air Act (CAA), the Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA), the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

Greg has focused on all phases of Proposition 65 case development, with a particular emphasis on products containing lead, cadmium, and phthalates. He routinely advises companies on Proposition 65 compliance and defends private enforcement actions.

During law school, Greg served as a government honors law clerk for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, a law clerk in the Natural Resources Section for the California Attorney General's Office, and a judicial extern to the Honorable Edward M. Chen of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
