Hannah I. Levin

Hannah Levin's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation relating to contract disputes, civil fraud claims, and class actions. She also works with clients to respond to criminal grand jury subpoenas and government discovery requests. Hannah is currently a member of a team that represents a large national retailer in a contract dispute with franchisees. Her role primarily involves performing legal research, assisting in deposition preparation, and drafting written discovery. Hannah also works as a member of a team defending a regional bank in a class action alleging securities fraud.

Hannah also maintains an active pro bono practice, working with the Tahirih Justice Center, a nonprofit organization that provides legal assistance to immigrant women and children fleeing gender-based violence. Recently, Hannah authored a successful brief that resulted in her client's ability to remain in the United States as an asylum recipient.

Before joining Venable, Hannah was a law clerk for the Honorable Lynne A. Battaglia in the Maryland Court of Appeals. She graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Maryland, College Park.
