This CLE, hosted by the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA) Homeland Security and Emergency Communications Committee, will explore the latest technological and regulatory trends surrounding Emergency 911 services. Panelists will discuss the FCC’s recent actions affecting 911 services, the one dealing with Next Generation 911 technologies and services (NG911) and the other dealing with proposals to enhance emergency call locations requirements for calls placed from indoor locations. Panelists from the Federal Communications Commission, the Public Safety sector, state and local government officials and technology solution providers will participate in discussing these issues.
