Jon Falkler litigates intellectual property cases involving complex computer hardware and software systems in the automotive, telecommunications, semiconductor, and other high-tech industries.  Jon has represented clients and argued cases before numerous district courts, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, obtaining victories on summary judgment, at trial, and on appeal.

Jon is skilled in all phases of litigation, from case assessment to managing discovery and motions practice, taking and defending depositions, working with experts, and participating in settlement negotiations, trial, and appeals.  He has experience litigating cases involving various technologies, including telecommunications equipment and protocols, semiconductor design and manufacture, complex data storage devices, encryption systems, mechanical devices, imager technology, and various other computer hardware and software systems.

Prior to law school, Jon worked as a technical specialist for a leading data security company.
