Katherine C. Dearing

Associate

Katherine Dearing is an intellectual property litigation associate in the Washington, DC office. She is a 2017 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center. While in law school, she was a legal intern with the Honorable Judge Walton with the United States District Court of the District of Columbia, where she drafted opinions and prepared memoranda on both criminal and civil matters. She was also a legal intern with the United States Attorney’s Office, where she produced memoranda on special legal matters, such as the D.C. Bivens statute of limitations.

Before law school, Katherine was a project manager with Epic Systems Corporation, where she managed two project teams simultaneously to implement electronic medical record software in two large healthcare organizations. Earlier in her career, Katherine was an intern with the Center for Forced Migration Studies in Chicago, the Office of Senator Richard J. Durbin in Washington, DC, and the St. Louis County Public Defender’s Office.
