Laura G. Remus, Ph.D.

Patent Agent

Laura Remus's work as a patent agent focuses on patent prosecution and intellectual property litigation support. She uses her advanced skills and training in the field of electromechanical systems to fully understand her clients' inventions and to guide their intellectual property pursuits. Laura has a passion for technology and has prosecuted patent applications in a broad range of technical fields, including display devices, medical imaging, software, wireless and cellular communications, microfluidics and automotive systems. Laura has worked with large corporations as well as universities and start-ups to prepare patent applications.

During her time in graduate school, Laura worked to extend the lifetime of quantum mechanical states in macroscopic mechanical systems. She published several journal articles and presented her work at national and international conferences.

Before joining the firm, Laura prosecuted patent applications for an IP boutique firm in Philadelphia.
