Venable partner Mark Vecchio was interviewed in a January 13, 2012, Law360 Q&A. The Q&A covered a broad range of topics including Vecchio’s most challenging projects and his thoughts on relevant issues in his practice and where reform is needed.

Commenting on an aspect of his practice in need of reform, Vecchio said, “The financing of infrastructure in the United States is in need of a complete overhaul, to better align the short- and long-term demands of the country (to keep roads and bridges from collapsing, upgrading and expanding highways, improving airports, developing railways, and enhancing power generation and transmission) with the interests of the providers of financing (both public and private) in a uniform, coherent, predictable, equitable and reasonable manner.”
