Venable associate Mike Signorelli was quoted in an April 25, 2012 article in Penn State's Daily Collegian on the Digital Advertising Alliance’s (DAA) proposed browser-based control mechanism. The proposed mechanism would provide Internet users an additional option to control web viewing collection.

Commenting on the proposed Internet browser option, Signorelli, who represents the DAA, said, “Certainly, the software provides another tool for consumers to control their information and empowers them to control how their data is used and shared online… The program will help consumers better understand how data is used and how to control the use of that data.”
