Mitch Mirviss recognized with Maryland Legal Aid's Champion of Justice award

On June 10, 2016, Maryland Legal Aid recognized Mitch Mirviss with its annual Champion of Justice award. The award celebrates Mirviss' incredible work with Legal Aid over the years, including his most recent victory with Legal Aid in December—a landmark ruling from the Maryland Court of Appeals that permits juvenile courts to require the State to provide ongoing, life-sustaining care to disabled foster children after they turn 21.
