Equipped with both business and tax law specializations, Mariam Abuladze assists clients with a broad range of corporate matters, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. Prior to joining Venable, Mariam worked on cross-border deals in Eastern Europe and served as a national researcher for European Compliance Benchmark in Brussels, organized by ELSA International in cooperation with K&L Gates.

Having obtained two law degrees in different jurisdictions and coming from a multilingual background, Mariam has drafted, reviewed, and negotiated operating agreements, international business deals, employment agreements, and other transaction documents in English, Georgian, Russian, and French. Before her legal career, Mariam gained a qualification in linguistics from University of Cambridge.
