Willer Rachel

Rachel Willer Adams is an associate in Venable's Commercial Litigation Group in Washington, DC. Rachel graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law. While in law school, she served as editor-in-chief of her law review, managing a staff of sixty fellow students and overseeing the editing and publishing of five editions of the University of Richmond Law Review.

During the summer of 2015, Rachel served as a judicial intern for the Honorable David J. Novak, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia. As part of her duties, she researched substantive and procedural issues, including the merits of a motion to dismiss and motion for summary judgment; observed various civil and criminal court proceedings; and drafted a social security report and recommendation and pre-trial settlement conference memoranda.

Prior to attending law school, from 2013 to 2014, Rachel served as deputy clerk for the Fairfax County Circuit Court, where she managed a civil docket, analyzed files, and led scheduling conferences with attorneys and pro se parties. Rachel was also a legal assistant for a law firm in Washington, DC, from 2012 to 2013, where she served as a point of contact for the international corporate transactions and international project finance departments, providing administrative support for research and client development matters.
