A registered patent attorney, Tama handles patent prosecution and litigation involving various technologies, including energy production, manufacturing equipment, semiconductor devices, optical equipment, automotive, medical devices, and consumer products. Tama has represented clients in cases before district courts and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. His litigation experience includes performing initial case assessment, working with experts, participating in settlement negotiations, and handling appeals. He has in-depth familiarity with AIA post-grant review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Tama also has utilized Pre-Issuance Submissions to help clients prevent the issuance of overly broad patents.
