Zainab Ali has represented clients in state and federal courts in a vast array of disputes, including securities shareholder class actions, contract disputes, and environmental actions. Zainab has also worked on government internal investigations and government contracts matters. Before law school, she was an intern with the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), based in Vienna, Austria. Zainab also interned for Representative Barney Frank in Washington, DC.
Zainab has represented various pro bono clients facing housing and immigration issues. She has represented a nonprofit providing services to HIV+ individuals as well as a group of environmental advocacy organizations suing over the renewal of permits for sulfide ore mining in Minnesota.
Zainab is fluent in German, French, and Spanish.
