Sky Baas focuses on matters related to privacy, technology, and innovation. Sky works with clients to develop regulatory response management programs for privacy research. She is responsible for managing the company’s ever-growing Privacy UX Research Wikipedia, processes for collecting research within the Privacy Team, and the systems around granting selective access to privacy-research requests from internal counsel, external counsel, and regulatory bodies.
Sky joins the firm most recently from the U.S. Department of State’s Fulbright Program, where she taught English as a foreign language in Madrid, Spain. While in Spain, Sky led her school’s Global Classrooms Program, a nationwide model United Nations (UN) program in which high school Spanish freshmen compete to go to New York and participate in the worldwide model UN program.
Sky’s Fulbright focus was on developing a privacy curriculum for high school students. Sky published a pioneering privacy work for high school students for the Community of Madrid’s future English teaching assistants to use in their lessons, and since 2020, Sky has taught over 500 young adults about privacy.
Sky received her B.A.A. summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky Honors College.
