Thomas L. Baker


Tad Baker concentrates his practice on matters related to bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. Tad is experienced in leading complex, multijurisdictional internal investigations and commercial litigations. He has counseled clients in matters related to the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), breach of contract, securities fraud, business torts, citizenship and national origin discrimination, employment issues, and trade secrets. He has also represented clients in matters before the Delaware Court of Chancery. Tad joins Venable with a strong track record of obtaining favorable results for his clients in international money-laundering civil suits, major FCPA cases, and Department of Justice (DOJ) investigations.
