Kristen W. Canales


Kristen Canales advises clients on advertising matters and brings experience in trademark prosecution to her practice. Prior to joining Venable, Kristen served as a student attorney at a Washington, DC-based IP law clinic. As a Venable summer associate, she drafted the Legal Standards Section for a U.S. International Trade Commission trademark case. Kristen graduated from the American University Washington College of Law, where she was a senior staff member of the American University Law Review.
