Christopher J. Climo


Chris Climo provides strategic advice and guidance to individuals, businesses, tax-exempt entities, and political committees on all aspects of their participation in the political process. Chris works collaboratively with clients to develop strategies to comply with federal and state laws governing campaign finance and election administration, government ethics and gifts, and lobbying registration and disclosure. Chris has significant experience conducting internal investigations and successfully defending clients against high-profile government investigations and enforcement proceedings, including matters before the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

Before his time in private practice, Chris served as a law clerk to Judge Gilbert S. Merritt of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Prior to law school, Chris was a management consultant.
