Fred Carter represents creditors, debtors, creditors' committees, asset purchasers, and trustees in business reorganization and business liquidation. Fred's clients have included financial institutions, technology companies, a major international airport authority, energy trading companies, healthcare providers, Chapter 11 and 7 trustees, and liquidating agents appointed under Chapter 11 plans. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of bankruptcy litigation, in courts throughout the country. Prior to joining Venable, Fred practiced law in Texas and Colorado. He also served as a member of the standing panel of Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees in the District of Colorado.
