Cartveli George
George Cartveli is a staff attorney in Venable's Labor & Employment Group in the New York office. He focuses his practice on employment litigation matters and has assisted clients with litigation involving wage and hour issues, the Fair Labor Standards Act, contract disputes, class action defense, and other commercial matters.

During law school, George was a student associate in the Securities Arbitration Clinic, where he represented small investors and drafted legal memoranda and a Whistleblower Complaint with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He also served as an articles editor for the law Review and as a law clerk with an employment practice group, where he assisted with the defense of employers in a broad range of employee compensation disputes.
