Ioana Cristei has practical experience with both government and business clients in the complex environment of government contracting. Ioana has represented clients in all phases of bid protests at the Government Accountability Office and the Court of Federal Claims. She has performed due diligence on transactional matters involving government contract clients and has written several topical articles related to important developments in government contracting. Ioana's legal internships with the Department of Homeland Security and the General Services Administration have given her a working knowledge of contract disputes, whistleblower and retaliation cases, and data privacy issues within the federal government.
Ioana clerked for the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals, where she worked on government contract claims disputes. She is a 2016 graduate of The George Washington University Law School, where she was the Executive Editor of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal. While in law school, she participated in the Public Justice Advocacy Clinic, where she focused on wage and hour and unemployment compensation cases.
