Kirk Dryer is an associate in Venable’s Washington, DC office, where he is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group. His practice encompasses a wide range of commercial real estate transactions for local, regional, national, and international clients, including developers, syndicators, investors, lenders, pension funds, real estate investment trusts, retailers, utility companies, telecommunication companies, property managers, and brokers.

Prior to joining Venable, Kirk was an associate with Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC, where he represented large financial institutions in commercial real estate transactions that involved mixed-use developments, offices, hotels, and multifamily housing.

Kirk began his legal career as a Legal Honors Attorney in the Office of General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), where he provided counsel on issues involving multifamily housing, community planning and development, and public housing. While at HUD, Kirk also provided counsel to the department regarding the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), social media policy, and delegations of authority.
