Alper Ertas

Alper Ertas advises pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and technology companies on all aspects of intellectual property protection, enforcement, defense, and asset acquisition. With a focus on intellectual property disputes, Alper has significant experience litigating patent, trade secret, and trademark cases involving pharmaceuticals, medical devices, chemicals, consumer products, semiconductors, textiles, and advanced computer networks before U.S. federal courts and the International Trade Commission (ITC). 

Utilizing his deep understanding of life sciences and engineering, Alper manages global patent portfolios and develops trade secret policies that protect intellectual property generated through the life cycle of pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical devices, and integrated circuits. As a registered patent attorney, he represents clients in contested proceedings before the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) to defend against patent infringement claims, drive early settlement, and reduce the overall cost of defense.
