Megan Hynes brings a broad legal background to her advertising law practice. During law school, Megan interned with the Special Federal Litigation Division of the New York City Law Department, where she deposed the plaintiff in a federal civil rights case and advocated for New York City and named defendants at all hearings and conferences. She also interned at the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of New York. She has volunteered with survivors of domestic violence to prepare and revise court documents, motions, and other filings.
Megan was a Venable summer associate working on commercial litigation matters and assisting a pro bono immigration case. Prior to law school, she worked as a paralegal at the U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of New York, assisting in three trials with the Public Integrity Unit.
