Judy Kim is an associate in the firm's eCommerce, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Group. Judy assists on data privacy due diligence during M&A transactions. She also advises on compliance with federal and state privacy statutes including the California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the HIPAA Privacy Rule. In addition to her privacy work, Judy provides general intellectual property law counseling with a with a focus on patent litigation and intellectual property diligence.
Judy received a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where she served as a student attorney in the Brooklyn Law Incubator & Policy Clinic, counseling start-ups on transactional and corporate legal matters as well as patent prosecution issues.
