Peter Kim

Peter Kim advises clients on matters related to advertising, bringing a background in regulatory policy and privacy law to his practice. Peter has experience composing a draft Privacy Act guidance memorandum for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ); compiling legislative updates on privacy law, internet law, and copyright law for the Smithsonian Institution; and drafting orders and bench memoranda for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

As a Venable summer associate, Peter conducted research, drafted memoranda, and briefed partners on privacy law, evidentiary privilege, and political corruption law. He also assisted with the development of a 50-state survey on privacy law issues and co-wrote an evidentiary hearing summary and draft opposition brief.
