Claire McGagh focuses her practice on complex matters related to bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. Claire has gained a wide range of legal experience through internships and clerkships in the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Attorney’s Office Criminal Division (Maryland), and the U.S. Attorney’s Office Civil Division (Ohio). As a Venable summer associate, she researched and drafted memoranda concerning real estate, corporate law, and general litigation matters. Claire served as an AmeriCorps member in the VISTA program prior to law school, helping organizations fight poverty through capacity-building activities.
