David J. McNamara

David McNamara

Dave McNamara brings a background in engineering to his intellectual property (IP) litigation practice with a focus on the life sciences. Before law school, Dave worked as a manufacturing engineer for a multinational aerospace company. During law school, Dave worked full-time as a senior commissioning engineer and project manager for a global consulting engineering firm. Since joining Venable, Dave has worked on a range of IP litigation matters, including Lanham Act disputes and patent cases involving pharmaceuticals and video technology.
