Kylee Mebust is a skilled communicator and project manager who helps drive success with client projects. Kylee aligns stakeholders from the worlds of law, engineering, government, products, and communications to drive decisions and reach privacy goals. Kylee’s knowledge lies primarily in international privacy regulation, data protection practices, user data privacy rights, and incident management.

Prior to Venable, Kylee managed the tech diplomacy and communications portfolios at the Austrian Consulate in San Francisco. In this capacity, she co-founded the Freedom Online Coalition Silicon Valley Working Group, which brought together diplomats and tech industry leaders to discuss the protection of human rights online. Kylee also assisted in the Front Office of the U.S. Consulate in Frankfurt, Germany and served in many capacities with Rotary International. Kylee earned degrees in global studies and German at the University of California, Berkeley.
