Joyce practices complex patent litigation related to a variety of technologies, including small molecule drugs and smartphone and tablet computer technology. She also conducts due diligence on pharmaceutical and biotechnology patents for acquisitions and licensing, and contributes to Fitzpatrick’s BiologicsHQ microsite.
While in law school, Joyce served as Editor-in-Chief of the Rutgers Law Record and was a member of the Moot Court Board. She also interned for the Honorable Esther Salas in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and for the Antitrust Bureau at the New York Attorney General's Office.
Joyce earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy and has three years of direct patient care experience, providing medication therapy management and conducting drug utilization reviews. Additionally, Joyce served as a medical writer for a leading medical advertising agency in New York, working with novel antidiabetics, anticoagulants, and immunosuppressants.
