Lyndsay develops nationwide lobbying registration and disclosure compliance plans for nonprofits, lobbying firms, and publicly traded companies, and represents clients in state lobbying audits and enforcement actions. She is well versed in federal, state, and local pay-to-play rules applicable to government contractors and investment advisers, including disclosure and restrictions affecting business affiliates. Lyndsay also provides formation and counseling advice for 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), 501(c)(6), and 527 organizations.
On behalf of a national high-profile issue advocacy group, Lyndsay organized a nationwide grant program to support local advocacy events. She reviews media content, ensures compliance with political advertising rules, vets contributions, and directs registration and reporting for federal and state political committees. She also provides guidance on lobbying and gift compliance, tax-exempt status matters, governance, contracts, branding, fundraising, and volunteer and affiliate relationships.
While earning her law degree, Lyndsay served as a judicial intern in the chambers of the Honorable James Boasberg of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and was an intern at the U.S. Department of Justice Public Integrity Section and at Fair Elections Legal Network.
