Olisa Onyiuke advises clients on matters related to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Olisa worked as a Venable summer associate, conducting regulatory legal research and drafting memoranda on food and drug advertising and labeling law. Prior to Venable, she was awarded a George Barrett Social Justice Summer Fellowship to serve as a legal intern in the Nashville Public Defender’s Office, where she led client interviews and drafted motions in felony criminal court. During law school, Olisa served as a student attorney for the Vanderbilt Housing Law Clinic, representing low-income tenants and modifying housing policies during the COVID-19 eviction moratorium.
