Judith S. Portnoy


Judy Portnoy focuses on estate planning and trust administration. She has experience strategizing and advising high-net-worth clients regarding their estate plans and the resulting tax implications. Judy has drafted a wide range of estate planning documents, including gift-sale agreements and sale of life insurance policies to grantor trusts, promissory notes, forgiveness of debt documents, assignment documents, premarital agreements, healthcare directives, living trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, spousal lifetime access trusts, and other irrevocable trusts.

Prior to joining Venable, Judy established her own estate planning practice and was an associate at two internationally renowned law firms.
