Kirsten A. Quackenbush


As a real estate finance attorney, Kirsten Quackenbush represents housing lenders throughout the DC region. For the past five years, Kirsten has represented mortgage lenders on market-rate and affordable transactions involving drafting and negotiating contracts, Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) contracts, regulatory agreements, tax abatements, and ground leases. Before practicing the law, she spent 10 years as a paralegal at a DC-based firm, where she drafted mortgage loan documents for financing, refinancing, acquisitions, transfers in interest, and supplemental financing. She also prepared loan submissions to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for approval and purchase and trained administrative assistants, paralegals, and associates.
