During law school, Brenna was a student attorney for Law Students in Court, where she served as lead counsel on her cases and represented indigent clients facing eviction. Brenna drafted motions, participated in hearings, prepared a case for trial, and negotiated a favorable settlement for an elderly, disabled client facing homelessness. After her tenure ended, Brenna continued to serve hundreds of pro bono hours with Law Students in Court.
Brenna has experience helping clients facing deportation file petitions under the Violence Against Women Act and has authored research memoranda on crimes of violence against women which were used in police and prosecutor trainings.
