Vivian Sandoval advises domestic and international organizations and startups in the software technologies, biomedical, and mechanical devices industries on patent counseling, prosecution, and litigation. Vivian’s intellectual property counseling experience includes patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. She represents clients in federal courts and in Section 337 investigations before the United States International Trade Commission (USITC).
Prior to her career as an attorney, Vivian was a product development engineer, a role in which she developed mechanical systems for data acquisition, and designed and manufactured new devices. While in law school, she served as an executive production editor for the Hastings Business Law Journal.
