Alyssa J. Wolfington


Alyssa Wolfington assists clients with privacy and data security matters. Alyssa provides guidance on compliance with federal, state, and international laws and regulations, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and state data breach notification laws. She also provides assessments of privacy and security practices, including for companies carrying out due diligence in the context of corporate transactions.

Prior to joining Venable, Alyssa was a legal intern with the Executive Office for Immigration Review within the U.S. Department of Justice. In this role, she drafted legal memoranda and judicial opinions on a variety of immigration issues.
