Brandon Wong

Associate

Brandon Wong brings to his regulatory practice experience with pre-trial litigation involving the Administrative Procedure Act (APA) and Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB) enforcement actions. Brandon also helps clients handle Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Department of Justice (DOJ), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), CFPB, and state attorney general investigations and provides regulatory counseling. Focusing primarily on financial services firms, Brandon identifies challenges and devises legal strategies to protect his clients' interests and business operations. Brandon also has significant experience with political law matters, including state ballot access laws and campaign finance compliance.

Before joining Venable, Brandon served as a law clerk to the Honorable Victor J. Wolski in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. During law school, he served as a law clerk at the Office of Congressional Ethics, where he assisted with investigations into members of the U.S. House of Representatives for violations of the House Rules, federal campaign finance laws, and other federal laws.
