Kelly Williams, a trademark counsel in the Trademark, Copyrights and Licensing Practice in the Washington, DC office, advises and provides guidance on domestic and global trademark prosecution, enforcement, and brand protection. While working with an international sportswear and footwear manufacturing company, Kelly led the strategic management of its global trademark and enforcement portfolios, provided legal support for the development and launch of global brand campaigns, and forecasted and managed a multimillion dollar trademark budget. In addition, she has managed patent prosecution matters, research and product development protection, licensing, and product claim and packaging review for other clients. Kelly has also advised on third party rights licensing and management, including photographer, talent, rights of publicity, and consumer privacy issues. She started her career as an examining attorney of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
