Robbie Walker is an associate in Venable's Real Estate Practice in Baltimore. His practice includes representing borrowers, developers, investment management firms, lenders, government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs), owners, and special servicers in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions. He has experience on matters related to acquisitions, corporate restructurings, developments, dispositions, financings, leasing, and loan modifications, among others.
Robbie's practice primarily focuses on real estate financings involving structured credit facilities. He regularly represents a leading GSE on the financing of pools of loans secured by multifamily housing properties located across the country. He has experience with loans involving various types of properties, including apartment complexes, condominiums, hotels, manufactured housing, mixed-use developments, seniors housing, and student housing.
Prior to joining Venable, Robbie worked in Ballard Spahr's real estate group in Baltimore, where he represented clients in a variety of real estate matters, with an emphasis on representing lenders in multifamily housing financings.
Robbie is a graduate of University of Maryland School of Law, where he served as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Business & Technology Law.
