Sydney West focuses her practice on intellectual property and technology transactions across a variety of industries. During law school, Sydney practiced as a transactional student attorney in the George Washington University Law School’s Small Business and Community Economic Development Clinic, where she was also a student director. In this role, she managed the clinic’s client matters and advised clients on a variety of legal matters, including trademark applications, entity formation, applications for federal tax exemption status, and more. She worked as a research assistant on matters of impact investing and social entrepreneurship.
Prior to law school, Sydney worked in the Hong Kong office of a global financial services firm.
